■SF6 gas insulated Ring Main Unit (RMU)




RMU is a SF6 gas insulated metal-enclosed switchgear that used in 24kV, 3 phase 3 wire, 50Hz underground distribution system having the neutral solidly grounded at the distribution substations, here the fault level of the outgoing feeders is 16kA at system voltage of 24kV. RMU has 2-load break switch and 1- fuse combination switch. This equipment also works as Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS).
