Togami Electric will terminate the use, delete, or terminate the provision to third parties of personal data held within a reasonable period and scope on request after confirming the individual’s (or their representative’s) identity.

Exceptional Measures and Explanation of Reasons

Notwithstanding items 5 (Disclosure), 6 (Correction, addition, or deletion), and 7 (Termination of use, deletion, or termination of provision to third parties), Togami Electric may take alternative measures or take no measures if permitted by applicable laws and regulations. Measures for Secure Management of Personal Data

Togami Electric implements the following security management measures to safeguard the personal data handled:

    A Group Chief Personal Information Protection Officer is appointed and a Personal Information Management Committee established. Each group company designates a Personal Information Protection Manager and a Personal Information Manager to supervise and manage personnel handling personal information.

  • Human Security Management Measures

    The department in charge of education undertakes awareness-raising activities and other training for employees as instructed by the administrative office.

  • Physical Security Management Measures

    Togami Electric implements measures to prevent theft of devices and electronic media handling personal data. Personal data is disposed of in an appropriate manner.

  • Technical Security Management Measures

    Togami Electric restricts access to personal data using access control, installs firewalls, and monitors access traffic to prevent unauthorized access from outside the company. Additionally, it installs antivirus software and maintains the latest virus definitions.
