  1. Basic policy

    2. We, Togami Electric Mfg. Co., Ltd., recognize the importance of personal information in the advanced IT society and our social responsibility to protect personal information. We protect personal information in accordance with the following policies.

      2. We make executives and employees to aware of the importance of personal information protection, formulate policies and regulations to ensure the appropriate protection of personal information, and commit to maintaining and managing the protection of personal information.

  2. Public Disclosure in Accordance with the "Act on the Protection of Personal Information"

      • For access control for our facilities;
      • For responding to Products inquiries other than mentioned above; or
      • For other actions in accordance with laws and regulations or orders or guidance by any legal authorities

      • For exercising rights and fulfilling obligations under laws and regulations;
      • For preparation, accumulation, and statistical processing of data according to the legally prescribed criteria;
      • For implementing various measures to promote understanding of our business and smooth relationships;

      • For other actions in accordance with laws and regulations or orders or guidance by any legal authorities

      3) Utilization Purposes of personal information obtained from prospective and current employees (including contract workers)
      • For attendance management;
      • For sharing information with related parties (including information concerning family members) arising in connection with the occurrence or change of status of the employee concerned, such as employment, promotion, demotion, leave of absence, transfer, and training, etc., of an employee or other individual regarding his/her status or change of position;

        If we use personal information for any purposes other than those listed above, we will obtain the consent of the individual in each case.

    2. Entrustment

To ensure the smooth running of our business activities, we may entrust some or all of our operations to third parties and may provide personal information to these third parties to the extent necessary to achieve the Utilization Purpose.     4. Disclosure and Provision to Third Parties

      6. If an individual requests disclosure of his/her own personal data in our possession, we will respond to the request within a reasonable period of time and scope after verifying the identity of the individual (or his/her representative) who has made the request.

    6. Corrections, Additions, and Deletions

When an individual requests correction, addition, or deletion of his/her own personal data in our possession, we will make the correction, addition, or deletion within a reasonable period of time after verifying the identity of the individual (or his/her representative) who has made the request if the information is inaccurate.

    7. Discontinuation of Use, Deletion, and Discontinuation of Provision to Third Parties

If an individual requests discontinuation of use, deleted, or discontinuation of provision to third parties of his/her own personal data in our possession, we will discontinue or delete such information, or discontinue the provision of such information to third parties, within a reasonable period of time and scope after verifying the identity of the individual (or his/her representative) who has made the request.

    8. Exceptional Measures and Explanation of Reasons

      We have appointed an administrator responsible for managing the personal information protection and established a personal information management committee for our group. We have also appointed a supervisor responsible for managing the personal information protection and a personal information manager for each company in our group to manage and supervise those who handle personal information.

      Under the direction of the secretariat, the education department provides employees with enlightenment and other necessary education to raise their awareness of personal information protection.

      3) Utilization Purposes of joint users
      We take measures to prevent theft of electronic devices and media that handle personal data, and we also take appropriate measures to delete personal data.
